Darling Pups...

I thought about it and realized that I haven't posted the news of our new puppies. Our two blue heelers had puppies a couple of weeks ago. She had five but the runt passed away the day they were born. The ones remaining are three girls and one boy.  The first picture is of one of the girls. I named her Panda cause that is what she reminds me of LOL. They are born white but will change colors as they get older. Actually they are changing colors now because these are not recent pictures...these were taken a day or so after they were born I think...I can't remember LOL. In the second picture the one with the spot on it's tail is the little boy. They are all so adorable and I will have to upload more recent pictures.

Feeling Crafty!

Ok I realized that it has been about two months since I posted anything on my blog. The reason why is because I have been too busy to put anything on here LOL. Well even though I have been really busy I have been in the mood to make stuff, be creative, get crafty! So, I had a friend who recently had a birthday. She is a big Alabama fan (ROLL TIDE!) so I decided I would make her a piggy bank/coin jar using a mason jar. I got my wonderful husband to make the hole in the lid and then I painted it and put the ribbon on it. And she loved it.

 

Change of Plans......

Last Friday I showed my Aunt the new scarf I am working on and she suggested a new idea of how to crochet it and it probably makes more sense. Anyway, prior to her idea I was crocheting them horizontally, now I am crocheting them vertically and I like this much better. The design looks a little different but I think it looks better this way for a scarf.
